JESSIE

Local Ca. artist Jessie B. brought some pictures to our recent art show and we were just blown away with her portraits. She's always drawn and painted, but never had a proper venue till now. We're happy to have such talent within easy access to our gallery. In Jessie's words............

I was born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, and have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. It was always a way for me to escape into my own little dream world, and to have something tangible to show for my trip! Animals, nature and music inspire me. I GOTTA be listening to music to paint. I’ve been living here in San Diego since 1993, after a cross-country road trip that I’ll never forget!
Music has always fueled my painting, giving me inspiration and energy.
My favorite style of music, Classic Rock, wouldn’t exist without these amazing Blues musicians. Some of my favorite bands including Cream, Led Zeppelin, and even the Doors were heavily influenced by the Blues.
Hopefully, the respect that I have for these musicians comes through my paintings, because that’s how I feel when I’m painting them!
